JULY 26-31th 2021 at Passage Festival/Helsingør Teater
Sew Flunk Fury Wit is presenting THE FOXCAVE.
A sensory, enigmatic and all-encompassing story of erotic obsession and power. Naked bodies in mud, rope firmly tied around the flesh, juices, honey and a soprano’s alluring and melancholic vocal in the darkness.
The audience enters an enveloping journey in The Foxcave, an abandoned fire station in Helsingor in this sensory, labyrinthian and illusory world, live The Obsessed: A group of individuals who each have enclosed themselves in the hunt to satisfy their erotic desires.
The Foxcave deals with the human erotic drive and is created by an international group of actors, performers and musicians. In a time occupied by where the borders of our intimate lives go, the question is: What do we do with the desire that is nurtured by crossing the boundary.
The Foxcave is presented by the company Sew Flunk Fury Wit in cooperation with Helsingør Teater and PASSAGE Festival. The performance is supported by Statens Kunstfond Projekstøtteudvalget for Scenekunst and Puljen for kunstneriske sommeraktiviteter, Koda-Dramatik, Augustinusfonden and Knud Højgaards Fond.
About the company
Sew Flunk Fury Wit creates enigmatic musically dramatic signature performances in hybrid genres, that are hard to categorize, but take place somewhere between hyper surreal puppet theater, poetic dramatic worlds and seductive soundscapes with newly composed opera and electronica.
The company was founded by artistic manager Svend E. Kristensn (DK) in 2013. He started his artistic career on the experimental music scene in Denmark in the early 1980s. Throughout the years he has expanded, developed and designed different puppets in human size of materials such as carbon fiber, silicone and other materials.
